Festival Hours: Fri, 14th, 9 am to 5 pm. Sat, 15th, 9 am to 5 pm. Sun 16th 10 am to 3 pm.
Vendor Setup: Thursday 13th at 1 pm till 7 pm.
Unloading/Loading: There will be 10 foot over-head doors for vendor use.
Breakdown Sunday the 16th, 3 pm. till 6 pm. NO EARLY BREAKDOWNS.
EARLY BREAK DOWN, PACKING OR ANY DISPLAY OF CLOSING BY A VENDOR WILL NOT BE TOLLERATED AND WARRANTS REJECTION FROM FUTURE FESTIVALS.
Each vendor will be allowed a total of three name tags per vendor booth rented. One for the vendor and two for additional helpers/workers. NO EXCEPTION. Additional name tags may be purchased @ $5.00 each. See vendor contract. This applies to vendors & gourd patch personnel alike.
CLEAN GOURDS MUST PREDOMINATE! Vendors will be allowed to sell only CLEAN DRY and/or FRESH GREEN GOURDS, GOURD ART/CRAFT & GOURD RELATED PRODUCTS such as gourd tools, beads, feathers, dyes & paints THAT ARE USED IN THE IMBELISHMENT OF GOURDS. NO COSMETICS, LOTIONS OR CREAMS OF ANY KIND. ALL GOURDS MUST BE CLEAN AND FREE OF DIRT.
Vendors must have their registration forms and fees to the vendor chair by 1 JULY 2011 as determined by postmark, or personal contact. Vendor space will be awarded on availability, first postmark etc. Make checks payable to TEXAS GOURD SOCIETY, INC. All proceeds support the Texas Gourd Society, Inc a not for profit organization.
ONCE ACCEPTED AS A VENDOR BY TGS, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.
Each vendor must furnish his/her own table covering and other accessories. All tables must be covered and draped to the floor. Tables rented from TGS are 8’ L x 30” W x 30” H. Tables, chairs, and electricity are available for a fee, see vendor contract. The exhibition hall does not have central air or heat, dress appropriately. A fan may help with the heat, this is your call. Neither TGS nor Gillespie County Fairgrounds provide electrical extension cords. This is a vendor responsibility.
NOTE: Only service animals to aid the handicap will be allowed. NO PETS.
All SALES TAX IS THE INDIVIDUAL VENDOR’S RESPONSIBILITY. For help with Texas Sales Tax information, see www.window.state.tx.us or call 800-252-5555.
Vendors are required to contain all display, sale and viewing area within the rented space to alleviate encroachment on adjoining space or walkways; booths must remain open during festival hours of operation. Membership dues must be current when submitting vendor contract & during 2011 festival to qualify for TGS member rate.
NOTE: No modifications of any type can be made to the fairgrounds, building or any structure.

CLEAN GOURDS MUST PREDOMINATE! I understand sales are limited to clean dry gourds, fresh green gourds, gourd art/craft & gourd related items; no cosmetics allowed. No modifications of any type can be made to the fairgrounds, buildings or any structure .TGS dues must be current at the time of application & festival date to qualify for member’s festival fee. Texas Gourd Society & Gillespie County will provide reasonable security, but assumes no responsibility for damage, theft or accidents. This includes but is not limited to entries, exhibits & displays.
